This is the part most students don't run. A washer and dryer rental is one flat price regardless of how many people use it, which makes it cheaper per person the more of you there are.

The laundromat column doesn't drop, because everyone pays their own way at a laundromat. That's the whole difference. Four people sharing a rental are each paying about a fifth of what they'd spend feeding machines on Sunset Boulevard — and nobody is driving anywhere at 10 p.m. the night before a class.
Our minimum term is six months, which lines up almost exactly with an academic year if you start at move-in. After that it's month to month, so when you're done in the spring you tell us and we come pick it up.
Late August is our busiest stretch of the year. Reach out two or three weeks ahead and you'll get the delivery window you want instead of whatever's left.

If you're keeping the lease, keep the machines. If you're not, we pick them up in the spring and you can start fresh in the fall.
Does your lease allow appliances to be installed? Most St. George rentals with hookups do, but some require written permission, and a few have rules about who can do the install. Ask before you schedule a delivery — it's a two-minute text and it saves everyone a wasted trip.
Is your landlord planning to add machines? Occasionally a property manager is already budgeting for it, in which case you should wait rather than pay for something arriving free in a month. Worth asking directly.

But a used set off Marketplace comes with no warranty, no delivery, no install, and no help when the drain pump goes out in March. Then you have to sell it.
