Why people rent here

About 340,000 Kansas City households rent.

Plenty of them have a laundry hookup and nothing connected to it. That's who we deliver to.

STATE LINE

Missouri or Kansas, same deal

Same $65, same delivery, same repair policy whether you're in Independence or Overland Park. Move across the line mid-lease and the set comes with you.

MILITARY

Assigned to Fort Leavenworth

The Command and General Staff College brings in a class of more than 1,100 officers at a time, most for about a year. That's a rental timeline, not a purchase.

STUDENTS

UMKC and JCCC

UMKC enrolls about 15,000 students and Johnson County Community College about 17,000. Split a set four ways and it's about $16 a month each.

NEW ARRIVALS

Here for the job

The KU Health System alone employs about 14,000 people, and employers like Fiserv and Panasonic are adding thousands of jobs in Johnson County. Rent first, and buy once you know you're staying.

The alternatives

What laundry in Kansas City otherwise looks like.

OptionMonthlyCatch
Kansas City laundromat $78–208 Three to eight loads a week at $6 a load. Fine for a load or two a week, expensive fast for a family.
Buying a set $1,200–1,800 up front Cheapest long-term if you're staying for years. Delivery, installation, repairs, and reselling it when you move are on you.
Rent-to-own store $75–195 Usually 24 months of payments. The lowest-priced set one national chain lists totals about $1,800 against a cash price near $1,060.
Renting from us $65 You never own the machines. If ownership is the goal, buy instead — we'll tell you that.
At $6 a load, the laundromat and the rental cost about the same at 3 loads a week. Below that, and with a laundromat you like nearby, stick with the laundromat. Above it, renting is cheaper and the gap widens with every load.

1

Tell us where

Fill out the form or call. We confirm we deliver to your address and check what hookups you have.

2

Sign the agreement

A short rental agreement comes to your phone or email. Sign it there — no printing, no meeting up.

3

We deliver and install

We pick a window that works, bring the set, connect it, and make sure it runs before we go.

4

Do your laundry

Pay the same amount every month. Call us if anything goes wrong. That's the entire ongoing relationship.

Who rents from us

Mostly people with hookups and a lease that ends.

Renters

Your place has the hookups but came empty, and buying a set you'd have to move again in a year doesn't make sense.

Military families

At Fort Leavenworth for a course or an assignment and living on the Kansas City side. Month to month after six.

Students

UMKC, JCCC, and the campuses around them. Rent for the school year and split it with roommates.

Landlords

Kansas City questions

What people here ask.

Do you deliver on the Kansas side?

Yes. Kansas City, KS, Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, Shawnee and the rest of Johnson and Wyandotte County on our list are the same $65 a month as the Missouri side.

Is there a credit check?

No. We don't run credit and we don't ask for a deposit.

What if a machine breaks?

Text or call us. We repair it or swap the unit, and you're not charged for either. Normal wear and mechanical failure are ours to deal with — that's most of the point of renting.

How fast can you deliver in Kansas City?

Usually within a week of signing, often sooner. If you're on a deadline — move-in day, lease start — say so and we'll work around it.

Can I get just a washer, or just a dryer?

Yes. Call or text and we'll quote it — the $65 rate is for the pair.

How do I know if my place has the right hookups?

Look for two water valves and a drain standpipe, usually in a closet, garage, or laundry nook. For the dryer you'll have either a large 220V outlet or a gas line. Send us a photo and we'll tell you what you're looking at.

What's the minimum term?

Six months. After that it rolls month to month at the same $65, and you can end it whenever you like with enough notice for us to schedule a pickup.

What if I move?

Moving within our Kansas City delivery area, we relocate the set for you. Moving away, we pick it up. Reach out as soon as you know your dates so we can schedule it.

Why is your phone number a 435 area code?

That's our main office line — we started in southern Utah. Deliveries, installs and repairs in Kansas City are handled in Kansas City.
